Oh god so much about this breaks my heart. It’s like Dean never got these soft touches, the ones that really mean something, as a kid or just in general from anyone. So whenever he gets them from someone, he automatically leans into them and tries to absorb them as much as he can. You can see the little bit of vulnerability in his face, and how much he needs that. And it’s just.. it’s heartbreaking.

Dean & Jo | “…. you still be mine…”
I can’t really say I liked them as a couple back then.
When they first met Dean was heartbroken ‘cause he had just lost his father and Jo was still a young and pretty naive girl, even though she knew the hunters’ world and what hides into the dark.
Anyway, the moment just wasn’t right for them to be together and so it passed.
But when she and Ellen came back into the show, Jo was a different person, a more confident and wise version of the old Jo we knew and I don’t doubt that if she would have stayed alive something would have happened between her and Dean, maybe not the true love kind of something, but something that would have been confortable for the both of them. And you know, one can never tell…
